Founded in 2014 by Prof. Jianhe Xu of East China University of Science and Technology, Bioforany is one of the main pioneers in China's biocatalysis industry, holding a complete synthetic biology technology platform, an advanced enzyme engineering platform, and enzyme-based green process development technology.
 

Based on our own intellectual property rights of the industrial pilot enzyme entity library, we have established a full chain industrialization system for the precise synthesis of high-value molecules that are difficult to be solved by traditional chemical catalysis. We continue to synthesize bile acids, amino acids, vitamins, pharmaceutical intermediates, and other functional raw materials by using a combination of high-performance biocomponents, targeting at the fields of pharmaceuticals, food and healthcare, beauty care, and ESG, etc. In addition, we also provide CRO services for enzyme customization and modification and CRO services for enzyme-based APIs/intermediates synthesis process development for our customers.
